Machaca is a toilet design that helps the user be more aware of the amount of water he/she is using. It is made from a mix of old crushed toilets and glass so the material it is 100% reusable.

The long, translucent tank makes users aware of how much water is used and at what speed it is consumed. This limits the number of unconscious flushes.

From the shape of the water tank, the water pressure inside the column is greater than in a conventional tank and so the toilet flushes faster. A 4L flush is always enough, even for the unexpected, unlike current tanks (6 to 17L).

A mix of glass and reused crushed china from old toilets makes it possible to create a new, sustainable and recyclable material that doesn’t need finishing such as paint.
